Default 36 Fordoor seat belts

Has anyone installed seat belts on a 36 Ford Fordoor? If so, do you have measurements/location of where you put them? Thanks.

Dean...I put lap belts in for the front seat of my 36 fordor and it was a real b$#@h
of a job because of the front seat is all metal under the upholstery. I drilled holes
thru the metal as close together as possible just a little larger than the width of the
straps (4). Then using a hacksaw blade, I cut thru the holes to have 4 separate oval
holes just at the bottom of the veftical portion of the backrest. The hold downs were
put into the sheet metal on the floor just beyond the back seat. There is no frame
close enough to that area to use. Don't have dimensions at thhe moment but can get them for you. Terry

Tim-sorry for the delay The holes I mentioned are really rectangular.
The 1st driver side hole starts 2 5/8" in from the slightly rounde corner of the metal bench frame. It is 2 1/4" long. My seat belts are 1 11/16" long.
The 2nd hole is 14 3/4" in from the 1st hole. Then do the same for the 2 passenger holes. As for the anchor bolt holes, they were drilled roughly
4 1/2" from the vertical seat supports that have the seat runners on them.
Anchor holes for the inner belts are limited by the drive shaft hump. Get as close to the hump as you can (remember the large flat anchor washers)
for these holes. If you drill the anchor holes too far to the rear, they will be under the angular footrest for the backseat passengers. If this is all clear as mud to you, Ill try to get a pic or 2 out to your email. I haven't yet tried to post pics directly to the Barn. I did this work with the front seat out of the car. Terry
