Default Went from the Club Coach to the Club Briquette

Last Tuesday a fire broke out in the storage unit. Started in anther unit. Our son's 30 Tudor was involved along with my swap meet stuff and a lot of A tool kit tools. Most are salvageable but need a lot of cleaning. The car is restorable but need everything. Tires are still OK and the gas tank didn't blow. To top it off, I had a TIA Friday night so spent some time in the hospital. Now home and OK but really tired

1930 Ford Model A Tudor burnt in garage fire. Very sad to hear of this tragedy.

Out of left field and would knock my knees out from under me.
Hope the storage facility has insurance.
Bummer.

It could have been worse. I have seen cars that have had so much heat that the panels look like a potato chip. Yours doesn't look like it got hot enough to do that or change the metallurgy.

Sorry to hear of the problems with the car and parts and your TIA. As Chuck said, your health is the most important thing. Stress can lead to a stroke so try and reduce the stress and take some 81 mg aspirin each day, after consulting with your doctor of course.

Every car guy's nightmare, sorry it really happened, most importantly no one got hurt, take care of yourself and son. Things will work out okay. "fix and then keep driving your "A". LRF

It is highly unlikely the tires survived the intense heat of the fire. If insurance claim you should include them.

Unless that car is insured for a very, very high amount,it will be considered a total loss. Not that it is anywhere near that to me,but the cost of professional repairs will exceed the threshold to total it.
