I got a Gano a year ago to protect a new radiator with a cleaned block and postage to here was $7. Postage now seems to be $32.

Anything more than the odd rust flake and I'd be cleaning the block.

Do the gano filters go inside the hose??

You have to cut about 2 inches out of the center of the hose. Then the filter is set in the cut area and clamped in. You can see the filter in the cut area so you know when it needs to be cleaned. If you look at the yellow tab on the photo, you see how it fits in.

Thanks Brian. That clears that up for me.

Bringing this back to the top, as someone asked to see the filter and number.

I have one of those, and to see the water moving I clamped a short piece of ribbon between the two pieces and let the end drift into the filter. Check and clean regularly.

I started cleaning mine every other day of driving and went to every week of driving after it started to clear up the crud.
