Why? For about 200 bucks more you can get brand new ones. Remember they re-machine the insides so "
No rebuild kits for shocks, our seals will not fit a stock shock because we remachine the housing and shaft during the rebuilding process."

They only have one year guarantee, so if they leak there is nothing you can do except fork out additional money.

Years ago when I was working on a lot of MGs I tried Apple for their lever shocks--1 month the first failed, 1 month to replace it,(car stuck apart) one month later the other shock failed, 2 month later the replacement shock arrived, it broke the next day---- 2 new shocks were ordered
Perhaps they are better now, but I won't try again

If you're talking about Apple Hydraulics on Long Island [ Calverton] , I've had good luck with them and not just Model A style shocks. They install a stainless sleeve.
But, I have not had them do anything for years maybe decades. I think the last lever shocks they did for me were $120.
Maybe their workmanship has changed, don't know.

I agree with Mitch and Mike. For $24 more, you can have brand new ones in your hands within 3 days from Snyder's! And these are not the factory sealed ones, these are the refillable ones!
