Them guys over by Green Bay have some nice stuff. About 25 years ago, I bought my '48 Seagrave open cab pumper with the Pierce-Arrow sourced 468 ci V12 with, get this, 2300 road miles for 4 grand. When I went to pick it up, the guy offered me a '37 Ford pickup (professionally converted to a front-mounted 150 GPM pump). It was an excellent job, and could have remained a fire truck or have been converted back to a straight pickup. That one had 1800 actual miles and I could have bought it for $3800.

Alas it was too much for this guy, and by the time I got back to the twin cities and got my shit together, it had been sold.
