Wiper Motor Rebuilding
Greetings!
Do you have any recommendations for a wiper-motor rebuilder? I’d do the job myself (it ain’t that hard) but I can’t find anyone that sells rebuild kits. Who’s good? This is for the vacuum wiper motor in my 1951 Crestliner. Thanks! |

Re: Wiper Motor Rebuilding
This was the recommended wiper motor rebuilder for many decades. I remember having him rebuild my 1940 wiper motor years ago.. I think the original owners son now runs the business.

I sent mine to Kent Jaquith a while back. He is located in the Pacific Northwest. Very good to work with and very helpful. His # is (541) 923-4219. Good luck

My vote is in for Ficken.
Great communication. I sent my Trico to him, he turned it around in a few days. Works like a new wiper.

Re: Wiper Motor Rebuilding
Delt with Ficken on a couple of occasions over the years. Probably the most rude & miserable person I have ever had the displeasure to meet !!!

Re: Wiper Motor Rebuilding
Kent would be the #1 choice. He is the process of handing the business over to his grand daughter which is awesome. I sold Kent a very large collection of NOS Trico wiper motor parts, so he has plenty of parts inventory. He did a '40 wiper motor for me and it works great. Nice guy to work with.

I also have had great experience with Keent Jaquith several times over the years.
