Default 1937 Ford Pickup Hood

I'm wanting to pick up an extra hood for my 1937 Ford Pickup. I plan to use it for a half-hood, so I'm not concerned about side panel fitment. My question is will any other year hoods fit a 37 pickup?

I think the 1935-36 pickup hood tops are the same as what you need for your 1937.

I believe the only hood tops that work on a 37 without modification are the 37 hood tops. The 35/6 has a different cowl than the 37 so the shape is not the same at the cowl. I once posted pictures showing the difference, but it has been years since I posted them.

1937 pickup/panel/big truck hood is its own animal. both the cowl and grille are different from 1935-36.

Note: a good fitting reproduction tops are available either with a passenger style center hinge or one piece.

I have seen quite a few for sale in the last eight months or so. Just keep your eyes open. I'm just here for the post count.
