Dan Gurney passes
Dan Gurney died Sunday at age 86 of complications with pneumonia. He was a champion and gentleman in every sense of the words.

Re: Dan Gurney passes
Late 60's / early 70's. I was treated to a trip to the Seattle International Raceway (SIR) by Formula Race Car designer/builder Lyle Forsgren. I couldn't believe it when I found Gurney and Andretti (sp?) were at the track. Seems like just yesterday. RIP Dan.

Re: Dan Gurney passes
I think he was the driver of the 7litre Galaxie that finally knocked off the 3.8 mk2 jags in the British touring car championship .
