8 in. ford rearend in a 50 ford/with flathead

You might have to relocate the spring pads to line up with your springs but that would be about all you would have to do. They come in different widths and can be found in early Mustangs, Falcons, Mavericks/Comets, Granadas/Monarchs and a wide range of gear ratios. <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

to change the u-joint. The best is the square joint with equal length sides. You will have to check the one you find to see if this is necessary. If you are close to GA let me know I have a 67 cougar 8 inch. <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

I have a 50 and a 51 with a rear from a 1975 maverik under both of them. It is a bolt in swap. Use the emergency brake cables off of the 50. Take the brakes apart and unclamp the brake cables and put the cables from the 50 on. There is a special ujoint to mate the early driveshaft to the late rear. <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

A rear-end out of a V-8 Ford Exploder 95 and later is an 8" limited slip with disc brakes,if you use springs[and shackels]from new donor it is almost a bolt in[rear shackels move rearward 3" <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
