my 56 townsedan had a bad gas smell, the tank

had 2 leaks 1 at the sending unit gasket and

the tank vent has a steal line that comes in the trunk at the back near the fill neak then goes to the drivers side finder well up to the top and then goes down threw the bottem of the well. it had come out for the hole and was venting inside the trunk
