Glad you made it back without losing anything. I like the pic you took outside Preston's Garage. I'll have my '66 there taking some pics this summer hopefully.

It was great meeting the gang. Appreciate all the help loading. The trip home was smooth as silk.

Took off 1/2 day Monday and was able to strip it and lay it on my frame. Lined up perfect.

Wiring of voltage regulator.
Moving right along but spring/summer slows progress a bit.


Any one have the bat/arm/field location on the reg?

I'm guessing pass side is Arm
Middle is Field
Driver is Bat

Can find no identification on it.

Question for all the Ford folks, just found out there is some sorta box, that the ignition switch terminal plate body and brush set goes in. Any one have pics or something that will work, available???? Or is it necessary?? As always thanks in advance.

Was able to purchase a setup from a fellow barner. Thanks

Got my hood mounted and adjusted, took a full 6 hrs.

I mounted the hinges to the cowl 1st, than hood to hinges.

Removed and tweaked the drivers side hinge, over 1/4".

When adjusted just right, tightened the cowl mounts up.

Springs were last, big old broom stick propped up the hood.

Very happy with final gaps.

Hoping for another good day tomorrow.

Fenders and all went just fine.

Was there a reason you didn't paint the engine? Just curious, not a big deal or anything.

I wanted to keep the drive train original, leave the painting for the next generation.

Ignition on. The key unlocks steering wheel, allowing switch to on position.

Following. Truck looks amazing!. I am inspired to get out in the garage now! I am at the stage of rust repair. Little hesitant since my skill level is beginner. Going to buy pre fabriated panels. Any advice?

Think it out ahead of time is all. I started underneath where no one could see .

I heard mixed reviews on pre fabs. So I bought a bead roller so I might've broke even over all.
