I'm looking for carpet for my 31 Tudor. Where is the best place to get it? Thanks in advance

Re: Carpet
I have no idea if they have JoAnn's Fabric where you live but that's where I got mine. 5 foot wide spools, roll off what you need. Nice quality carpet and a Model A is about the easiest car to install into possible. Can't see any need to buy a carpet kit. Roll the edges and sew with an old singer sewing machine, press with an old iron. Not difficult in the least.

Re: Carpet
A classy Berber from NewYork carpet World is A great alternative to buying a kit. Not for a judged high point but great for a driver! Likely a quarter of the price also !

Re: Carpet
My wife and I looked everywhere for carpet for our '30 town sedan. One day we were in our local Marc's store (kind of a grocery and misc. store in northern Ohio) and found just what we needed. Did the entire car for $12.00 and have some carpet to spare. She bound the edges on her Singer and have been happy ever since.

Re: Carpet
I was able to almost match what was in the car (31 deluxe tudor) with LB interior at H/Depot. Bought some edging at JoAnn Fabrics and with a glue gun did the edges after cutting to fit. Came out good !

They took over a lot of the work that LB left stranded. I just received and installed door panels for my pickup from them. Great work!

The Door panels, were they Covered? Plastic? Or did they replicate the original cardboard material? Thanks |

Re: Carpet
They are covered with a heavy covering that matches the seat material.

Re: Carpet
The closest match to original Deluxe cars appears to be German style wool square weave available from Miami Corp or others. It's expensive !
