rumble seat rear cushion
Just brought 29 roadster and the rumble seat back cushion keeps coming up out of the top brackets. just wondering how the bottom should be fasten to prevent this

IF the back rest is original, and maybe even the reproductions...you should see a bracket on the right and left bottom of the seat back...these brackets should have holes in them which allow you to put a screw into a D-nut which should be in the decklid itself.
My Decklid has the cut out for the D-nut but no D-nut so I had to take a D-nut, put tape on the back of it, attach that to the inside of the deck lid thus I was able to screw the screw into it with no problem. Problem solved. Pluck |

Hello Jimmy,
I have secured the bench from the bottom with "fokker needles." The backrest is screwed down with two aluminum strips for pushing down.
