Re: tool storage
Get a trunk, preferably a vintage metal trunk.

Re: tool storage
On my ute a garden variety tool box bolted to the rear of the running board. I will do the same for my Coupe.
I have seen an excellent idea at a national meet for my Tourer and the same would suit any closed cab motorcar. A shallow ammo box slung between the front bumper attachment brackets.

Re: tool storage
If you filled this Trunk with Tools, the front wheels would lift off the ground! It is huge, but very practical for light stuff. |

Re: tool storage
In my 45B Coupe, everything goes under the seat. In my 190A, I have an accessory tool box in the front, and it holds all the tools and spare parts for touring except a spare starter & head gasket. The starter & head gasket are under the rear seat.

Re: tool storage
Carl G, That is the best looking toolbox I have seen. Did you make it?

Take a look at this thread - it discusses that particular toolbox; unfortunately anyone looking to get one now is about a year and a half late : ( |

Re: tool storage
This box was sold years back in a computer store for holding tools to repair PCs..... How could I resist buying a tool box featuring an AA truck!

They are on the market now. Skyler Deviney restarted manufacturing from the original designer, apparently on a low volume basis for now. He did a nice job with mine. I received it a month or so ago. I need to have it powder coated before I install it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: tool storage
That one Carl has looks interesting.
I have a Tudor. Tools, jack, flares, and some small parts under the rear seat. I have a felt lined trunk, and use that for clothes when we travel. Anyone have those wells that Snyders sell you can install in the rear floor board? |
