Send a pm and/or an email to Ken ct or Charlie ny. (Ken is on a trip to Georgia but may still be able to get messages and mail parts). These guys can advise you of what you need and help you get whatever you need to get your fuel pump working properly with ethanol enriched gasoline.
You can use the later glass bowl fuel pump on your '36 engine. I use them on my '35's but occasionally have problems with the new gas boiling in the glass bowl when driving while outside temperature are in the 90 to 100°÷ range. There is a fix now available for that problem now however.
