Default King Seeley temp sender Part #

I have an original King Seeley single contact temperature senders, and it is stamped KS in a circle, with a 0 under that on one side, and the other side a #224. Is that the part number for the sender. ?

I think that number is related to the temperature range designated for that particular sender.

Here's a thread that discusses it very briefly.

#224 is Ford part number 8A-10884 for use on 6 cylinder engines and on the right head of 8 cylinder engines. It is calibrated at 224 degrees.
