Question mustang clips for street rod

Fellow barners,
Does anyone know or have experience with grafting a Ford Mustnag (or other car) front end on a 36 Ford sedan frame? I have heard some folks suggest that in lieu of using a fatman, etc...I currently have a 36 Ford pickup that has a fatmans, etc. setup on it, and I am not happy with the brake disc "chatter" when you first put it in gear, whether reverse or front. I get just a little pop as the discs move that silly little millimeter while holding the brake pedal engaged.'
In any case, I am wondering what kind of mustang or other car will work to make a nice front end for my car. I would be interested in suggestions on perhaps a complete donor car that I can pull the front clip, weld it in, use the rear end and springs, etc, and maybe even use the engine and tranny, although I am not hung up on using Chevy drivetrain....
Any ideas, anyone?

The mustang ll spindles with the mertic gm calpers work the best,I bought the Speedway kit and the brackets.I put a Height frontend on a 35 frame and works good.If you don,t want to wield Chassic Engeering bolt on kit would be good. One other way is gm Nova rear steer clip, lot of work but works good.

Thanks for the responses guys..I thought I was in the right spot to ask this.....I really don't want to go back with the Ford brake system, so i will look into your suggestions.

If you don't like the Ford brake system that's a problem, see a Mustang clip is a Ford unit. I never had this problem on my Heidts unit, I run a Wilwood set up. See fellas street rodder .com is down and maybe out. Should we start a social group for rodders of all persuations, seems to be a lot of this lately. What do you think Ryan? should I start a rodders group?

Well I did, If you don't approve just delete it or give me a holler, Thanks Frank.

The disk brake chatter is the disk moving back and forth. They were stamped out and fit loose. If you were to bend or weild were its loose that would stop the noise.May try a better grade of pads.If you have and older frontend you may have the larger Camaro calipers. The smaller mertic ones I like better, but may also do the same thing.Mll frontends will be around for years.
Our front wheel drive cars will be of no use,and not the many rear wheel drive are far and few.Till something better comes along I'd leave it alone.

A truck or van pan from the 80s would work good.Be sure you get the dipstick and tube as well the pickup tube and special main bearing bolt with a 3/8 stub. The later 80s pans have the dipstick going thru the side of the block whereas the earlier 80s are thru the side of the pan.
