Default 48 6 cyl bell housing

is this a 6cyl bell? measures 3 3/4 thick, and all my other cast iron v8 ones (as in the red &blue motor pic ) measure 3" thick. i am not a 6 expert and wish to verify that there are no other variations before this gets shipped out. this is in regards to the posts last week in which the gentleman wishes to swap out a 4spd for a 3 spd, and his current bell, while correct, is damaged. thanks, skip
