If any one would like a antique door knob for a shift lever, one of our club members has completed a number of knobs that are already to be installed with the correct A shift lever threads. He does a beautiful job, and is very reasonable. Send a PM to me and I will e-mail you his name, address and telephone no. here in Quincy, CA.

In high school in the late fifties, we drilled and tapped an 8-ball for the A shifter.
I guess someone else liked it too. It lasted about a day!

I have an eight ball in my '55 Ford Ranchwagon. You have to push the "8" to shift from "Park" to "Reverse" or "Neutral to "Drive"

I've got a Colonel Sanders bobblehead............I've been thinking of decapitating him and making it into a shift knob.

Vermin came with a tan, "plastic" looking MUSHROOM knob, that may have had a clock in it???
I tried to lay a QUARTER in it, for GAS money, BUT it wouldn't quite fit.
