Default front turn signals

http://www.mikes-afordable.com/product/A13405T6.html any pictures of these on a model A? Thanks. Currently mocking up painted 10 watt bulbs as signals, not sure if they are going to be bright enough. Pic with hazards on, have a 21 watt drying ill try tomorrow.

I used my Cowl lights and that way I don't have any other lights hanging on the front of the car. If I ever change the wire harness, I will probably go to two bulb harness and put parking lights in the head lights. I hate to do that as I have "silvered" light lenses and they are awesome. Everyone flashes their lights at me.

Brattons has the 32 cp bulb for tail or stop light, they are really good have been using them a few years. This year I changed to united pacific LED units and they are out of this world , really bright. Check into the 32 cp and run them for turn signal in your front head light. I think you may like them have fun modelAtony tony white Lafayette, LA FORGOT TO ADD THIS I like what 1931 FLAMINGO did using his fog lights for turn signal I have always thought that would really be safe.

modelAtony: Thanks for the compliment. I picked those up at Rhinebeck about 4 years ago. Had seen about 6 pair, good shape, from about $75-$150. Found these, Ford logo and a little "patina" for TWENTY dollars and they worked. Couldn't get the money out fast enough. Seller wrapped them nicely in newspaper and put in a bag. I grinned ear to ear all the way home.

FLAMINGO, always noticed your fog lights and have thought about getting some and make them turn signals. THANKS FOR LETTING ME KNOW THAT'S WHAT YOU DID. modelAtony.

I have the hi wattage incandescent bulbs on my cowl ights and never have a problem being seen at a red light making a left turn which is the main reason for a front turn signal when you think about it. I have the full sized LED combo in red only for my taillights as well as having a Third Brake Light. The LED puts out as much light as on my modern cars and the third brake light is the same color since I am a big believer that the amber lights just confuse fellow drivers.

I don't like those rectangular lights between the bumper bars, they take away the old fashion look of the car. On my 30 roadster I use the cowl lights but the 29 coupe uses the smaller rectangular lights and truthfully they are too small. I have been looking for a better front signal light arrangement but haven't found it yet.

The lights between the bars are hard to see in bright daylight. Could be my 79 year old eyes though
