Default 32 Shocks-Test?

How do you determine if a shock is working properly before installing. It is not locked up, it does have resistance and is not leaking.

Check the oil level & keep in mind the 32's are not that heavy of a car
then when you x 4 shocks each shock does not need a lot of resistance to work well.
