Default Re: 8BA Edelbrock head clearance

I just finished this engine. Merc block , 4 inch crank, ..080 over, egge pistons, stock valves, l100 cam. I went with copper gaskets. Did both clay and aluminum balls. Without gaskets pistons just touching, valves no problem. The copper gasket compress is .062. No problems engine runs great. Compression 150. 3 short runs to check vitals . Next stop 38 5 window.

Sorry heads are Edelbrock 1115
