Default 51 starter mounting plate

Engine rebuilder has a 51 engine he is completing rebuild. He wants to start the engine. He has a stamped steel bell housing but not the starter plate. What does the the starter plate look like? Is it full circle or just the lower half?

Here are a few of pictures of the starter plate. There is also a rubber gasket (first photo) that goes along the edge that will touch the housing... Chap

It should be noted that the 8BA car starter plate looks a lot like a couple of others. It can be determined to be for a car because the surfaces for the starter mount and the mounting surface for the plate itself are not parallel, while the others are parallel. They will both bolt onto the engine, but using the wrong one will result in starter mis-alignment and the attendant problems.

The starter plate for the stamped steel bell-housing has a raised rib running horizontally across the starter plate.
