Default Window riser handle won't fit

Bought handles and the other stuff at Brattons. Window riser mechanisms from Macs. Now I cannot install the handles because everything is too tight. The little whole in the handle doesn't reach the whole in the rotating axle of the riser mechanism. What is wrong ? Again this seemed to be just a very little job today, but boy ! Even this is not happening !

I would appreciate some help !

Sounds like mix and match. Maybe you need to buy some handles from Mac's. Maybe only a bit of filing or a dremel tool will get them to work.

Ok, it works. I have setting screw type of handles luckily. Had to file away some 3 mm from the echecutions. The pinwholes I would never reach. Also I left out the springs. Since everything is so tight they have no use at all.
