Lubing windows and Locks
Hi
I am installing new door panels so the back of the doors is exposed on my 68C Cabriolet. Can I lube anywhere while the door's insides are accessible? What kind of lube is suggested? Do any of Les Andrew's books mention these areas? Thanks |

Re: Lubing windows and Locks
I like to squirt oil on all the pivot points, and then use a small plumber's brush to coat all the parts with Mystik JT-6 red high temp grease. I use DOOR EASE on the latch on the outside edge of the door, so you don't get grease on your clothing. Silicone spray or graphite in the felt side tracks for the glass also helps.
