Question for the 40-41 pickup guys
In the attached pic what are the two items on the upper dash above the speedometer indicated by the red arrows? I've seen them on several stock trucks and always wondered what they were for.

The top one is the wiper control switch. The lower one is the high beam indicator jewel

Is the switch circled in yellow a factry or PO installed item? If factory, what is it for? |

You can tell it is a 1940 (vs 1941) by the raised area stamped in the dash with Ford script on it. Later year dashes were all flat as far as I know and have seen.
