Default 32 3W female door guides

Anyone have experience reassembling 32 3w female door guides? I can get the wedges and springs into the housing but I can't get them into correct working position. I'm about ready to drill a hole in the backside so I can push them around. Any advise?

As I recall they should snap into place. Push them back as far as they will go and push downward at the same time.

TJ, Thanks for the reply. Everything you stated is true. Only problem, the spring loaded wedges are not co-operating. Heavy intervention with a screwdriver gets one wedge in place, the other remains cocked. Push the cocked one into position and the other gets cocked. Back and forth, do this for an hour = *^^$@@$%^ Think I'll drill a hole in the back to see if I have better luck pushing them into place from there. Thanks again.

As I recall some of the cars have a metal tang at the back of the housing. A small hole in the back of the wedges fits onto the tang. Not sure if this applies to your 3 window or not but if it does the tang could be broken off allowing the back of the wedges to move.
