Re: 33 unskirted fenders
David,
I’d imagine a 1933 parts catalog is rather rare as I’ve never found one for sale. Was there only one printing of the 33 catalog? Sorry to take this thread off topic. |

Re: 33 unskirted fenders
Michael,
As you likely know, there were multiple versions of the chassis parts catalogues for 1932s (three) as well as for most model years from '35 through '40 (and probably beyond, but I've never looked for any as my interest has not extended that far), but I've only seen the one for '33 and one for '34, the latter of which are not at all rare. I also have a '33 body parts catalogue, again not with me, which is Canadian. I have no way of knowing if any other versions of the '33 catalogues exist until I encounter one as neither of the two that I have make any reference to it superseding a previous version and I do not recall their printing dates. Based on my experience over the years of looking for catalogues for those years of which I have a long-standing interest, it would seem that both those '33 catalogues are extremely rare, right up there with the first two versions of the '32 chassis parts catalogues. The seeming scarcity of the un-illustrated '33 catalogues is likely due to the fact that the illustrated '34 body and chassis parts catalogues are much more user friendly and cover both years in the same catalogue (although leaving out many of the super-early '33 components) and once those later catalogues came into use the '33-only versions were likely relied on less and less and eventually discarded. |

Re: 33 unskirted fenders
These simple part design changes sure can be a headache, but make the learning aspect of the hobby fun.

Re: 33 unskirted fenders
I also have a NOS right rear 33 skirtless fender. Wish I had a left one to go with it. I have a complete set of super rough skirtless sedan fenders, running boards, and the rare gas tank cover with spare tire mount and fender braces. Bill
