Given the way you're measuring in the picture you posted, I measured 14 1/4 inches from cross member to joiner.
13 1/2 inches from axle to joiner....

My 34 Fordor measures 13-1/2" from the web of the axle to the front of the joiner--

In haste, I had written crossmember instead of axle the first time--Sorry

Well, guess that pins it down to the nearest inch!

I measured mine the way shown in the photo. I guess it depends on where the tape hits the cross member and how much bend you have in the tape.

Web of axle to front of joiner on a 33 - 13 15/16 " .

Web of axle to front of joiner on a 34 - 14 1/16" .

Much straighter line than crossmember to joiner .

Plenty areas for this dimension to wander !!!!!!

It is 14-1/2 from the web (inside) of the axle to the front of the joiner on my 33.

OK thanks ,The grills often don't fit that well and I think its because of a bend about were the horn mounts ,14-1/2 is about were I thought it should be ,Ted
