Re: 38 handbrake routing
I Have a '38 One Ton that I am currently restoring to stock. I got it 95% complete. The emergency brake attached up under the left side of the dash and the cable ran down along the top of the bell housing to the passenger side of the cable cross shaft. I am attaching 3 pictures that give you a pretty clear view most of the way to towards the cross shaft.

Re: 38 handbrake routing
I just found a 4th picture that completes the route for the EBrake cable from the right side of the transmission to the cable cross shaft. The sleeve goes to the cross member and the cable continues to the brake cross shaft uncovered.
