'39-'41 rear juice brakes complete
City:
fredericksburg
State:
VA
Price:
225
‘39-‘41 rear juice backing plates, loaded and complete with all e-brake hardware, grease shields, etc. E-brake tubes are NOT rotted out and usable as is. One e-brake tube may need a little heat and massage but easy enough to do. It will not fall apart. These are getting VERY hard to find loaded with the e-brake hardware. They are in very nice shape. Some light pitting but not bad at all. Adjusters will all free up easily. Plus shipping. They’re heavy but shipping shouldn’t be horrible. Serious offers will be entertained ;-)

Re: '39-'41 rear juice brakes complete
Price drop. $180.00 plus ship. These are worth every penny. A very nice set of loaded rear plates with good e-brake tubes. Go ahead, buy a set of repro e-brake tubes, cut out your old rotted ones on your not-so-nice plates (not an easy thing to do). Have the new ones welded in. Make sure that you don't penetrate too much or your cable end won't fit through the tube though. Oops...too much penetration??? Glob of weld inside the new tube??? Cable end won't fit??? Drill it out, HOPING you don't drill through the side of the tube when the drill bit catches on the glob of weld inside the tube. D'oh!!!! You did it! Went through the side of the tube. Dammit!!!
What is that time, money and effort worth? Buy these plates and avoid that hassle. :-) Andy |
