Default 57 t-bird dash pad

Has anyone on here recently installed a reproduction 57 thunderbird dash pad??They all seem to be made by Casco and are claimed to be a new and improved molded design. I have fought with two of them now with zero success. The speaker hole seems to be 1/2" off and the glove lock hole is even worse.....

Try larrystbird.com. I found an old post, guy purchased Larry's pad. Dry fitted it several times to familiarise himself with each area's fit, laid it in the sun and got it good and hot and then installed with no problems, very happy with results. 1-800-854-0393. Best of luck! Gary

35,
If Casco supplied the cover, they will make it right. Call their tech line and they will talk you thru it. Of any of the T-bird suppliers, Casco is the best supplier, been using them for years.

My wife and I are going to install a new dash pad in our '57. We purchased our pad from Larrys and have received several good tips....most importantly to take our time. We will dry-fit to make sure we satisfied before applying the contact cement. One good experienced bit of advice is to apply the contact cement and let it dry thoroughly, then put Saran Wrap between the pad and the dash. Fine tune the fit of the pad and slowly pull the wrap from between the pad and dash. Let me know how yours turns out and I will do the same. We probably will not have time to start the job for a couple weeks.
