'28-'29 Pickup cab to bed gap
If I could ask a favor. -- On a '28-29 pickup with original cab and bed locations, how wide is the gap between the back of the cab and bed, measured at the top of the bed panel? Thanks,

Bob,
I get a measurment of about 3/8" to 7/16" on the one I have that is straight. This is measured at the center of the bed panel to a flat spot on the rear center of the cab. -DAN |

My bed is off right now, but that sounds about right to me.

Sorry, I only have an AA express (similar to the pickup body). My express has 1/8" spacing at one join-strip and 3/8" at the other join-strip. Original spacing would have been equal.

Re: '28-'29 Pickup cab to bed gap
My early '29 is 3/4" between the bed and back body panel. Note that an early '28 OCPU with the integral subframe for body and bed will have a shorter distance between the two.
