What starter is this?
While cleaning out, I found this starter in my stash. What has me stumped is the third mounting bolt. The third bolt goes through a cast flare on the starter's end cap.
At one time, I picked up a bunch of parts from a guy who had a '53 that had a Ford-o-matic. I've never fooled with a Ford-o-matic car, so I don't know if the starter would be different. Any help ID'ing it, would be great. Thanks, Tim ** Ugh, it's not letting me post picts. Once I can, I will. Sorry. Picts would help. Last edited by Tim Ayers; 05-02-2020 at 07:31 AM. |

Thank you. Yep. that's what it is. Another member DM'd me. Can it be used for a standard trans ca? The Bendix looks different.
