Bob just emailed Kanter we'll see what happens

KiWinUS, just emailed NJParts

i looked and the H 226 piston has 0.9 wrist pin the G an 0.85 so even those wont work. I am about to hone and put mine back together and go till it has a catastrophic failure. Gonna pm Barnfind he has a set of 40 over pistons..

Just got the phone with Kanter. They have +0.040 pistons and rings. No 60 over. Pmd Barnfind to make sure the pistons are ready to use. Looks like it's hone and run.

If you go ahead and run the used pistons , you may consider having them Knurled , it may help you with a tighter fit. I would consider knurling before I ran them too loose and have a catastrophic Failure.

Fordestes, not going to run the used Pistons. definitely going with new stuff. just can't bore it out The Next Step Up Without exceedingly great cost. so going to get new pistons and rings and hone the cylinders. then put it all back together And run until it blows up. I think now that I have the cooling issue solved it will run for a long long time.

Talked to Greg at Kanter. They have 40 over piston but not 60 over. Evidently they get them from the same place Falcon Global does, they wont have any till Sept. Barnfind has a set of 40 over and rings for less than Kanter so I am going that direction. It's gonna be a hone and new pistons and rings job.
