Cool 1931 Cabriolet Top info

Can anyone take some pictures of the way the top is finished along the bottom edge at the body and the rear vertical (B)pillar by the door frame. Also the way the door fits into the flap at the top when the window frame is up. This is on a late 31 Slant window.

Thanks for your help.

Why does the cabriolet not have rests like the roadster has for the top to sit on ?

Something to note about the above pictures. I am NOT saying this car is bad, but truth is you can not get the right windlace.

This car was done with the normal wind lace which is nailed in the center. The original locktite wind lace was offset so the nails were about 3/4 the way to one side. This allowed for better coverage of the edge of the top in hiding what is supposed to be hidden. You can see that the normal stuff you can get does not cover as well.

Not much you can do. The locktite stuff is a PIA to make. I know of 2 people who have made it and they will not make just the wind lace. You have to pay them $$$ to do your whole top. Oh and Yes, you will pay for that locktite.
So it is make do with what you can find.
