model t wire wheels
i need somebody/where to restore, and finish paint t wire wheels-preferably in nw ill or s wisconsin |

I had mine powder coated which is tougher than paint and about the same cost. It was $65 per wheel and that included the sandblasting. I took him four ugly ones and got back four pretty ones ten days later. Ask around the various car clubs (street rodders know where to get this done) and find someone in your area that does powder coating. If your not familiar with powder coating, the part is "sprayed" with the color you chose which is very dull and flat. It then goes into an oven to be baked and when it comes out is smooth and glossy. Its kinda like porcelin coating. |
