Default Powder Coat baking temperature




Can anyone tell me the required temperature and bake time for powder coatings

I'm told 400 degrees for 3 hours. but thats just what I've been told.

The cure cycle is different for different powders. Need to know what powder you are using. Most powders cure cycles are part temp of 325F for 25 to 35 mins. That means that the part has to be at that temp for that long. If not the paint will not be cured. I have used low temp powder to coat wood products. That cycle was something like 110F for 15 mins.
