1911 Torpedo Pedals

I'm restoring a 1911 torpedo from parts. I understand there is a conflict with the standard car pedal configuration. What pedals need to be bent or realigned. I have lengthened the steering shaft, but do not have engine/transmission back into frame. Can Anyone share a photo or commments. Thankyou. Dave
