27' Model T Tudor

hi, i live in temperance, michigan and 2 months ago, my hubby bought me a 1927 model t tudor (closed) with wooden wheels. we're brand new hobbyists to the model t, so any help will be greatly appreciated. we haven't joined any clubs yet, eventually we will. my hubby is going to restore the car to it's original glory and so far we've found several things that were wrong with the car according to a "ford model t" book we bought. as to my question(s): is there a way to find out: who were the original owners and who's owned it since? where was it made? what day, time and month was it made? what was the original color? were the wooden wheels painted or were they varnished? what color was the interior? pinstriping - what color would it have been? i'm only 34 but i've always been i love with the wooden wheeled cars. i think it'd be really fasinating and neat to find out the cars history. |
