Default Correct me if I'm wrong

On another recent thread there was talk about how sometimes erroneous or questionable advice is given and when corrected the advisor takes offense and/or leaves the Barn. Someone else said when they read incorrect info they just shake their head and move on.

But in my case, I want corrections and additions. A lot of what I "know" about Model A's I have learned through 53 years of shade-tree experience. It has mostly worked for me, but it may not be the best way to do something. So if you read one of my suggestions and see I'm wrong, or you have a better idea, I want to hear about it. I promise not to be offended.

I agree with Ray. Its very hard to diagnose something on a forum such as this, and, its hard to get a point across as well. So this whole forum thing can be confusing at times. Some folks are are pretty thin-skinned and get mad easily, though some folks have been downright combative at times also. Were made up of all types of folks so this just seems inevitable to me. I'm sure some have gotten upset with me at times. Its just tough to communicate here sometimes.
Most folks here are good hearted and are really trying to help. Some responses are just plain wrong at times, but, its too be expected, I think even then most are still trying to help. This board is full of knowledge about our old cars and most are willingly to give it to others. This is a great place.

All of us learn everyday. The Barn is an exchange of information, suggestions and facts about our Fords some of it you take with a grain of salt and let the person have their say without offending anyone. different methods and tips we learn from others.

Very good observation, johnsor,
I personally, feel that some "erroneous" info is posted by folks who "act" like they know stuff & REALLY DON'T. Why someone would do this? I don't know??
Whenever possible, we need TRIED & PROVEN experiences, like, tell me what you've DONE, and did it work or not. Bill W.
