I recently had all new signal switch components put in the steering column. When I got it back the horn works with ignition off, but NOT with the ignition on. I've pulled the steering wheel but I rather not pull all the wires or the signal switch if I can help it. I also do NOT want to take it back to the morons who did this. They took 5 weeks and didn't a good job on the other things. Any thoughts or ideas would appreciated. Especially a fairly easy fix. And, for the record, the horn worked fine before I took it to those idiots.

The problem that jumps out at me is a broken contact at the steering rag joint. Take a jumper wire and connect it from the end of the steering shaft (before the rubber joint) to a good ground and see if it works. If it works make a jumper wire and attach it to one of the bolts before the rag joint and connect the other end of the wire to the 12pt bolt at the steering box. Or you can buy a new rag joint but thats alot of work to replace. Dont know if thats the problem, but thats where I would start.

It's definately a ground wire problem. The jumper wire worked. So I'll run another ground wire. Thank You.
