Default need roadster top pics

I am doing a modified with a working folding top, would somebody post some good pics of what the original tops looked like at the front corners? I don't have the original bows, I have cut down a set of model 'a' bows for the main hoop and forward hoop but where it comes to the front I am lost and don't know how the original attached to the windshield post and what the header should be like.
I might also need the clamping devices if anybody has a set to cut loose.
I included a pic of my cowl so you can see what I have to work wth at the windshield.
I realize this is not original, so if the mods need to delete this I understand perfectly.

You can buy new top clamps from vendors like MAC's or Langs for the T header to the post.

The clamps mount to the front bow with carriage bolts, head outside under the vinyl front bow wind breaker or rain shield.

Thanks TModelMan, you have shown the whole assembley, thats a big help. I guess the forward hoop attaches to the secondary hoop at that unused eyelet 2/3rds the way up? It is wider than I expected and the clamps face different than I thought. There is an unused eyelet on the main hoop just up from the bodyattachment fitting, is that for some sort of limiter strap connection?
I had looked thru many books etc and they'll show the top but not as well as you have.
Thanks again, very helpful.

Here is what the 3 wood bows look like on the iron set for the Model T roadster (runabout)

And since you have shortened the T stanchions and using Model A top irons, you will just have to be creative. The Model T front bow is placed in front of the windshield, hangs over the windshield. No sure what 'loops' description you note, but the circular boss on the stanchion is for the knuckle for the tilting windshield, a '26-'27 has both frames that tilt. Your will have only the lower frame.

And the little 'eyelet' is a Lift the Dot male fastener, those on the stanchions for mounting the removable side curtains.

Beautiful, you just have to have an appreciation for mechanical elegance.
One more question, is that a fabric strap (visible in the first picture) tying the hoops together seperate from the top and limiting the travel? or is it part of the top itself?
Thanks again, oj

Got it , the 'hoops' are the wood bows, that hold up the top.

And the top straps are tension straps to hold the top erect.

Two sets, one pair ride up from the backrest wood tack strip to the top of the rear bow. Then 2 straps run from the rear bow to the front bow.

Riding outside the longer pair are the top pads, these are tacked on the corners of the rear bow to the corners of the front bow, and give the thickness needed to the top cover to keep the finished top from looking like a 'starved horse' from the side, as the top cover would sag between the wood bows, like the thin belly of a horse showing its ribs!
