Default Brazilian made replacement drums

Does anyone have experience with the quality of the Brazilian made drums that were sold? I'm assuming these were available years ago for they were in an old timers stash.

Thanks,

Brazil. Cast in pad says, "Made in Brazil". The reputation for Argentinian junk is what concerned me. Did these junk parts also come out of Brazil as well?

Richard Lacy (Early V8 Garage brake dude) has spoken more than once about the poor/questionable quality of ALL of the foreign, aftermarket brake drums over the years UNTIL the current MT Car Products drums hit the market to alleviate the misery and danger of the old-days' crapola drums. DD

Tim someone who can answer your question about the quality of the Brazilian made brake drums is James at Gotham Auto parts. James formally from Joblot Automotive was always the go to guy for many of the parts i purchased from Joblot until their closing back in 2015. James opened up his own company in 2015 and continues to help with any Ford parts needs including importing parts made especially for his company from prior sources used while at Joblot. Heres the phone number(718) 878-3699

Thanks for the tip, Ron. I've been meaning to call him anyway.

Hope all is well with you up there in CT.
