Re: New To Model A
Welcome Eric,
Great looking car if I say so myself! I believe that Hamilton, Ohio is where most, if not all, the wheels were made for the Model A/AA. I take it that your car is a Standard Coupe. Is there a date on the gastank? And what might be the Assembly Plant code on the bodies cross sill? Here is where to find them: http://www.plucks329s.org/pdf/studie...ND%20CODES.pdf Pluck |

Yes, it is a Standard Coupe. Hamilton Ohio was a very industrial town back in the day. There was even a car company called the " Hamilton Motor Car Company". I have a historian friend that would be able to answer that about the wheels. Hamilton, Ohio really screwed up when interstate 75 was being built. Our forefathers said they did not want it coming through here because we were self-sufficient. Not a smart move. Took many years to get a connector off I-75 to Hamilton after that. We are finally on the rebound. |
