Angry '71 Ranchero Brake and signal lites out.

Brake/signal/emergency flasher lites all went out at same time. I found the short in the right rear taillight (yeh, I was messing with them). Also replaced blown fuse. They still don't work. All the fuses in the fuse box check out good. What am I missing? Is there another fuse box or circuit breaker somewhere? Or did I fry a lead wire somewhere? Oh yeh, I replaced the flasher too. Thanks for any help. George Milliorn

you may have burned a wire under the steering wheel the turn signal switch is located, if so you will need to pull the steering wheel, before you do that check for a blown fusible link, it will be close to the batt, if you hsve one and its blown it will be real linp not stiff like s good wire

You need to start testing with a test light all the wires going in and out of the turn sig. switch. Everything goes in and out of there. Bill
