front spring perch ??
Does antone know of a way to repair the perch bushing hole. I press my perches out and knocked the bushings out, but on one of them the hole is just barily wore out of shape so that the bush just slides right thru. Or is just better to replace the perch.
Thanks Nate... Last edited by natebeach90; 05-23-2012 at 10:29 PM. |

Re: front spring perch ??
I knew a whore that had a wore out perch bushing hole. But I don't believe she was a bear. I guess if it was me I wouldn't mess around. I'd just take my credit card and buy a new perch. Not a bass or crappie. A walleye would be best.

Re: front spring perch ??
I do too. A lot of the time I have to go back and reread everything I write and it still doesn't come out right. And to be honest, when you get to be as long winded as I am it takes a lot of proof-reading. I apologize for giving you a tough time. But I've learned the most people who make errors in their writing are usually the most productive, intelligent people you'll ever meet. My son is in his last semester in college and he still can't write worth a hill of beans but he's got a GPA of 4.0 and has held it since his first semester. My wife is the same way. She had a 4.0 GPA all the way through graduate school. I couldn't even get into college. So don't worry if your spelling isn't right because you do things a little too quickly. Your probably one of those people like my son. What I like about you is your young and have an interest in model ts. You've come to the right place for advice. Good luck. -Mike
Oh and to answer your question. Unless they make reamers and replacement bushings that'll repair them as good as new. I'd purchase new perches. And I'll guarantee by tomorrow night you'll have several opinions to work with. And a lot of them will be conflicting opinions. And all they'll do is confuse you. So do what your gut tells you and if one of the "experts" agrees with you then it's the right way to correct your problem.
