Default Repurposing Model "A" Wheels

I have some non-usable Model "A" wheels that I want to repurpose. Please post pictures of what can be done to repurpose these wheels.

I use them on the ends of my culverts to keep the larger critters and debris out of them.

No ideas, but remember they are not flat on the bolt pattern.

Ooooo. I have spots at the ends of my deck and under my front stoop where all sorts of critters find their way in to over the years. This would be a more attractive approach than my current use of old brake rotors. Thanks.

Set up 19" wheel for a hose rack but it didn't hold enough hose.Took a 21" wheel & cut the rolled edges at the same diameter as the outside edge of the 19" & welded them together. Now it will hold a 50' garden hose. Cut a hole in the 19" hub cap 7 snapped in the 21" hub cap. Looks great but take a while to figure out what you're seeing. Now I want to make two more for the back of my '28 roadster pickup but can't find any 7.00 x 21" tires!

Contact your local ski area. Many use them for rope wheels on rope tow ski lifts.

Wello,

That's interesting as I have a 20" AA wire wheel for my mailbox post.

My Grandfather used them for dead men to hold up the retaining wall at our cabin.
Still working after 89 years.

I was considering making 2 wheels into battery operated wall clocks, but they would be very heavy.

I've seen them used as garden hose holders.

I've been using a rusty old 19" rim to drape a garden hose over for years and years.
