Default 59 AB crankshaft timing gear replacement, Help

I was changing a 21 stud camshaft out for the correct 59 AB cam so I can get rid of the adapter. Started to replace the cam and found a chipped tooth on the timing gear on the crank. Looks like the machine shop chipped it while rebuilding the engine, then decided to install it anyway. The engine has a couple hours of run time on it. No hope getting help from them as it was done over 2 years ago. It had a new fiber gear, you can see where it was starting to wear a little. The chip is on the front of the tooth, and I'm sure it has to be replaced. What does it take to replace the gear. It looks like the crank will have to come back out. this has been a nightmare to say the least, and not the first problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ron
