Re: 28 or 29
There is a hole in one. But the other does not have one. I know doors could have been replaced. This is the only body that does not have a frame with it. There are some more frames on the place. And he has one that he fixed up. To test flatheads on. It's a frame with all the running gear and 35 transmission. With a old metal tracto seat welded to it. He said he would bring a motor home. Put it on that and try it out.

Re: 28 or 29
try looking in the rear on the bottom below the deck lid look for the taillight mounting bracket holes. The '29 had the taillight mounted on the fender so there would be no holes and '28 would have the holes. thats what i have been told and it works on the sedans. I could be wrong though

Re: 28 or 29
It has the remains of the glass bowl fuel filter ; that became an option in 1929, well at least in Canada.
Also has the rear deck top rests [ what modern enthusiasts think of as hand grabs for the rumble], but it should have a tank date stamp [ LH side, upper panel] if produced between May 1928 to Aug. '29. |

It's nice to see those parts pulled from the trees and put to good use again.

Re: 28 or 29
Surprisingly it's really pretty solid. Even the sub rails can be saved. There is a 29 coupe there that I hope to come out of there with allso. There are enough parts laying around outside and inside to put the roadster together. It's funny where the cars pop up. I found another roadster not five miles from this place.

And the devil turns them into hot rods.

Re: 28 or 29
I don't know about that ^^^. Weather stuff like this gets restored or turned into a nice traditional hot rod. Either is better that what is being done with it now. Place like this show that there are still a lot of these cars out there that no one knows about. Over the next few years more of these places are going to show up.

A Hot Rodder will have the money and vision to build that. Bob
